Welsh 3 Peaks - 13th June

Afrer a month or so of sort of training - its nearly here! I am part of a United Welsh team that is taking on the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge - Snowdon , Cader Idris and Penyfan over around 15 hours. Its not without a little trepidation - last Saturday the UK 3 Peaks Challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon was abandoned in terrible weather - walkers had to be airlifted off Snowdon!).

The weather is looking pretty good and we will be well prepared. And its for a great cause - we are raising money on behalf of Ty Hafan, a groundbreaking children’s hospice in South Wales. Tŷ Hafan was established in 1999 to provide respite, palliative and end of life care to the children in Wales who suffer from life limiting conditions. All but 17% of is funding comes from donations.

You can give to this great community charity here http://www.justgiving.com/unitedwelsh
and in minutes the money goes straight to Ty Hafan.

There has been some training ........
